Spring Break, Away From Home

I was all done with my midterms and my classes this past Wednesday; my spring break started when I left my Gov. 100 class that morning. However, I’m officially kick starting my spring break tomorrow in Washington D.C. I’ll be spending time with a good friend of mine who goes to school in the city.

Campus appears to be a wasteland, for the most part. But, there are still quite a few students around, at least in my house, since it seems to have become occupy all the washing machines and dryers in the laundry room of my building. I guess everyone is doing last minute laundry and packing, like me.

Tonight I’ll be joining the other members of the Anime Club in an anime viewing session from 8pm-8am. Though, I’m sure I’ll be back in bed by midnight, resting up for my day of travel.

I’m excited for my week off, but disappointed by the lack of sun outside this time of year. Thankfully, D.C. is supposed to be a bit warmer than Lancaster.
