I.M.P.A.C.T. Invades Laserdome

With the semester in full swing and the work coming in a little more frequently, students may get the feeling that are overly flustered with academics and feel the need to take a study break. The esteemed men of I.M.P.A.C.T., took this idea a little further when they all gathered on Saturday night and took a group trip to Laserdome, a local arcade and Laser Tag venue.  The gentlemen were able to enjoy sessions of laser tag, endless arcade games, food, beverages, and a night full of excitement. I would be remiss if I didn’t admit that it became slightly competitive; of course that should be expected with a group of men who challenge each other both academically, socially, and recreationally. After a fun filled night of laser tag, the gentlemen returned to campus with many of them going to their rooms to rest up for the next day (or night) of study ahead of them.

Just like many organizations on the F&M campus, I.M.P.A.C.T. serves as a support group for it’s members  in a variety of capacities. After a close observation of their Facebook group and Twitter account, it is clear that their membership extends further then a simple once a week meeting. It is a true brotherhood that embellishes it’s members struggles, accomplishments, and future endeavors.

The esteemed men of I.M.P.A.C.T. take a break from the books to enjoy a few games of laser tag at Laserdome this past weekend.
